Our Programs

At the Nora Sandigo Children Foundation (NSCF), we are dedicated to supporting immigrant families by providing programs and services that promote stability, education, and well-being. Our programs are designed to meet the unique needs of children and families navigating the challenges of immigration and family separation.

Tutoring Services

We provide free tutoring services to help children excel academically and build confidence in their education. Our dedicated volunteers work with students to improve their skills in various subjects and ensure they reach their full potential.

Gardening Program

Our gardening program connects children and families with nature, teaching them sustainable practices and providing a therapeutic environment. Participants learn to grow their own food while building a sense of community and responsibility.

Educational Workshops for Children and Parents

We organize workshops tailored to children and their parents, focusing on essential life skills, academic support, and parenting strategies. These sessions foster understanding and collaboration, helping families thrive together.

Food Distribution

We address food insecurity by distributing fresh and nutritious food to families in need. This program ensures that no family goes hungry and supports their overall well-being.

Connecting Families with Legal Help

We assist families by connecting them with trusted legal professionals who provide pro bono guidance and representation on immigration, guardianship, and family reunification matters.

Guardianship & Family Reunification

NSCF is committed to reuniting families separated by immigration policies and providing guardianship for children at risk of entering the foster care system. Our work ensures that children remain connected to their families and communities.

Advocacy for Children Born to Immigrant Families

We actively advocate for the rights and well-being of children born to immigrant families at local, state, and federal levels. Through our advocacy efforts, we strive to influence policies that promote family unity, equitable access to resources, and the protection of immigrant children’s futures.
